Varsity, Freshman 150 Boats Pick Hall, Boardman Captain

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The College's only undefeated crews, the Varsity and Freshman 150's, got away from their boats-long enough yesterday to elect captains.

The Varsity lightweights picked Arthur P. Hall '47, whose brother, George, also rows in the same boat, and the Freshmen strung along with John Boardman, Jr., whose father won a major H in track back in '94. The two boats were the only Crimson units to win on the Charles last Saturday, both decisively trouncing M.I.T.

Hall, who rows in the number 2 slot, is in his third year with the varsity 150's. Boardman wields a wicked number 6 oar.
