It's three days until the football season even gets under way, but every hotel in Cambridge already in booked solid for the Yale weekend. So are most of the hotels in Boston.

The Commander has stopped taking names on its waiting list. The Continental was filled up a week before the first Freshman walked into the Yard.

In Boston, the Myles-Standish, the Sheraton, the Ritz-Carleton and the Touraine have no rooms left. Only two hotels, the Statler and the Pioneer, reported vacancies.
