NSA Delegate Mary Hall '50 last night announced the appointment of Doris Bernays '51 and Elizabeth Tucker '52 as publicity co-chairman for Radcliffe's NSA chapter.
Under the new due-chairman arrangement one girl will take over all publicity for the Tri-Nations Tour, and the other will handle NSA activities within the College.
Miss Hall added that applications for Foreign Student Hospitality chairman have been pouring in since her request that Student Council coordinate with the NSA group in naming a girl for the position. This girl will represent Radcliffe in an intercollegiate council which will work to promote NSA's nationwide foreign student hospitality project.
New Project Under Way
NSA members are also backing a new project to have Radcliffe adopt a DP student. Council voted to support the NSA plan provided the Dean's Office complies. NSA had previously agreed to take over the duties of raising money and securing some form of scholarship aid.
Alice Gilbert '49, NSA Regional Chairman, will join representatives from Wellesley, M.I.T., and Yale in discussing "Student Interest in International Relations" over WHDH next Thursday night.
Miss Gilbert will describe projects of the Radcliffe NSA chapter, in particular the Tri-Nations Tour which the group is directing this summer. Earlier in the year NSA conducted a "soap and clothes" drive for the Free University of Berlin in coordination with Signature Magazine and sponsored a tea for International Students attending Radcliffe.
