Sunday Crowd Hears Stompers' Jazz, Bop

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The murals on the walls of the Lowell House Junior Common Room vibrated again yesterday afternoon for two hours as the Crimson Stompers performed before 100 of the faithful.

The mixture of dixieland and be-bop also attracted several local gamins who listened from the window sills.

The group which at times grow to nine instrumentalists alternated with Barbara Leacock, Wellesley '51, torch singer, who performed only with piano this time.

The Stompers are now in their second year of playing informal Sunday afternoon sessions.
