Over 250 alumni and undergraduate musicians will be on the field at half-time today when Leroy Anderson '29 directs the band in his own composition, "Wintergreen." The feast is part of the band's thirtieth anniversary celebration.
While this year's band marches with the Cadet Corps today from Allston train station to the stadium, the members from former years will parade through Harvard Square, leaving Memorial Hall at noon.
According to present plans the two bands will share playing time in the stands and participate in joint drills between halves. The anniversary celebration will end with a post-game dinner in Memorial Hall tonight.
Among the 100 returning handsmen is Thomas L. Reynolds '20, founder and director of the first band in 1919, and nine of his original 45-piece group. This is the first full scale reunton of the Band Club, which was reorganized last year.
The schedule:
Alumni march at noon.
Cadets enter field at 1:10 p. m.
Pre-game drill starts at 1:50 p. m.
