Eliot House rolled up an impressive 26 to 6 victory over a light Leverett football squad yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field, while on the adjoining turf Adams walloped Lowell 20 to 0.
The Elephants opened their scoring spree early in the first perod when tackle John Cowles pounced on a Leverett fumble in its own end zone. After this first touchdown the Bunnies kept the Eliot T in check until an Eliot interception laid the way for Rick Hudner's 20-yard dash for the second score.
A short pass from Jim Lowell to end Rowland Cox gave Eliot its third TD just before the half-time whistle. The Elephants picked up their fourth in the last period when Lowell bulled over from the three.
Adams capitalized on Lowell's case of fumbleitis in notching its victory. After a ragged first period the Goldcoasters' Don Nosek blocked a Lowell punt and on the next play Roger Davis scored through the middle. A Belboy fumble set up another Davis score after the line had stopped the Adam's team on the twenty. The flashy Davis went across again in the final minute of play.
