Six of the seven finishers in last week's triangular cross-country meet with Yale and Princeton are in New York for the Heptagonal Races this weekend. Coach Jaakko Mikkola and his traveling squad are hopeful of returning from the trip with more to show than another last place.

Mikkola's unfortunate squad, which has beaten only Holy Cross in seven starts this season, will find itself against the same top-notch competition that has out-run it all season. Princeton, Dartmouth, Army, and Penn are expected to dominate the race, with Cornell, Navy, Yale, and Columbia all offering top-notch opposition.

Captain Joe Loeming, sophomore star Dave Gregory, Bill Baker, John Paukey, Dave Cairns, and Hank Everett comprise Mikkola's team. Dick White, for two years a regular on all of Mikkola's track and cross-country squads, was originally intended to be the seventh man. White, however, has two hour exams early next week, and will not make the trip.
