Intramural athletics take up next week where they left off a month ago, as House teams move into the most important two thirds of their schedules. The teams have been practicing all this week.

A League basketball gets under way Tuesday afternoon with a contest between Adams and Winthrop, tied for seventh place with one and four records. Kirkland and Dudley, tied for fourth, play Wednesday afternoon.

The remaining four quintets will get their first action of the term Wednesday evening. Second place Dunster meets Leverett, also in the triple tie for fourth place and the league leading Lowell squad seeks to extend its five-game streak against Eliot, currently running third in the standings.

The whole B basketball league will swing into action Wednesday, with the same Houses playing each other as in the A League.

Hockey players will get in only one game next week, between Dudley and Dunster on Wednesday morning at the Boston Skating Club, while the rest of the league waits until the next Monday.
