Two records fell Saturday night at the annual Ic4-A track meet at Madison Square Garden, but Harvard shared in none of the glory. Competing with a skeleton team, the Crimson tied with Fordham for 17th place with three points in the record field of 46 colleges.
The muscleman of the squad were the only scorers. Robert Forsyth came in fourth in the 35-pound weight throw with a heave of 51 feet, 8 1/2 inches. Taking a fifth place, Jeff Tootell completed the scoring, putting the shot 48 feet, 7 3/4 inches.
