5 Winter Teams Pick New Captains

William Allen Prior '50, of Troy, Pennsylvania, and Winthrop House, was elected captain of the 1949-1950 basketball team by a vote of this year's lettermen yesterday in the Dillon Lounge.

A 20-year-old junior from Andover, Prior has played varsity center for two years.

John Leonard Roy '50, of Pittsburgh and Lowell House, was named varsity manager. Robert Pierce Balderson '50, of McKeesport, Pa. and Lowell House, won the sophomore managerial competition and was named assistant varsity manager.
