Eliot 1st to Begin DP Fund Drive
Eliot House yesterday decided to adopt a Displaced Person student next year, and today becomes the first House to start a door-to-door fund-raising campaign.
The Eliot House Committee made the decision last night in line with the Student Council's informal DP plan. Under this system, each House pays most of the living expenses of the student it will adopt.
