Today will be a busy day for freshman tennis players as they face two prep school teams on the Soldiers Field courts.
The first team will play the match it should have played against Andover Academy last Saturday, at 1:15 p.m. and the newly formed second team will face the New Preparatory School at 3:15 p.m.
According to Yarding Coach Covey Wynn, Andover has a really good team. He is putting his best players in this match: Don Blackmer, Dave Aldrich. Gerry Murphy, Roger Swanson, Charlie Thompson, and a newcomer to the charmed circle, John Taugen, in that order. The usual doubles teams will try their luck in this match.
