Adams House, which is generally noted for good food, is making a bid for musical fame by producing Johaun Strauss' "The Gypsy Baron" on a scale which will make it the most ambitious show a House has over taken the trouble to put together.

Polyna Stoska, a Metropolitan Opera singer, will carry the chief singing role in the production which is scheduled for performances in Rindge Tech Auditorium November 16, 17, and 18. William Wheeling '50, will stage the opera and has also streamlined some of the lyrics. William Perry '51, president of the Adams House Musical Society will direct, Nancy Ryan '52 will handle the lights.

Before their opera goes before the public, the Adams House musical organization will give a two piano recital October 17 by Mr. and Mrs. Allen Sapp.
