Basketball Practice Begins Tonight: Everybody Welcome

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Varsity basketball makes its first appearance since spring at 7:30 p.m., tonight in the Blockhouse, when Coach Norm Shepard will open practice for all candidates.

Eight lettermen were graduated in June, so Shepard has especially asked any interested men to attend the session, whether or not they have played varsity or freshman basketball here.

An informal junior varsity schedule has been arranged in an attempt to give more boys a chance to play intercollegiate basketball.

The 22-game varsity schedule has slated all home games for the Indoor Athletic Building. Formerly, the varsity played most of its "home" contests in the Boston Arena.
