Paced by right wing Steve Joyce's two goals, the freshman soccer team beat an inexperienced Brandeis University team, 5 to 2, here Saturday.
The Yardlings got off to a slow start in the first half with Joyce, left inside Juan Vollenweider, and forward Stan Loeb making, the only goals. Brandeis kept the freshmen from scoring again until the fourth period, when John Beer and Joyce kicked in one apiece.
