Two goals by right wing Stove Joyce, one in two minutes of the first period and one in the last second of the third period, gave the freshman soccer team a 2 to 9 victory at Tabor Academy Saturday. Joyce ran all the way for a clear shot on the first goal and tapped in a corner kick dropped by the Tabor goalie for the second score.
FullbacksDave Rogers and Griff Buttrick kept up a tight defense for the freshmen so that goalie George Anderson had to make only five saves. Outstanding for their ball-handling were center halfback Bob Dean and right inside John Beer.
