Philologist Gives Lecture Tonight

Alexander Johannesson, persident of the University of Reykjavik, Iceland, and professor of Philology, will give a lecture in Emerson 211 tonight at 8:15.

His subject will be "A theory of the Origin of Language." Johnnesson's latest book, and his first published in English, bears the same title.

This is the 11th and last American university that Johannesson will visit under the auspices of the U.S. State Department. His three week tour of the country ends with his return to Iceland on Tuesday.
