Adrienne Rich '51 of Baltimore, Maryland, is the winner of the 1950 Yale Series of Younger Poets award, W. H. Auden, Poet and editor of the Series, announced yesterday.

The competition is open annually to young writers who have not previously had a volume of verse published.

Miss Rich will give a reading of her own works at 7:30 p.m. next Tuesday in Cabot Hall, among which will be poems which have appeared in the "Virginia Quarterly Review" and "Harper's."
