The Class of 1951 Committee will sponsor an "open house" lawn party April 29 as its contribution to the Crimson Key's All-College Weekend, Committee chairman James E. Barrett, Jr. '51 announced last night.
The party will be closed to all but juniors, and their dates. Entertainment will consist of music by the Crimson Stompers, specialty artists, and liquid refreshments.
The program will fulfill the Student Council requirement that each Class Committee conduct one social event each year.
Formal announcement before completion of detailed arrangements was voted by the Committee in response to a CRIMSON editorial yesterday which attacked class dances as too expensive and in effectual in building "class unity."
