The Massachusetts Turnpike Commission today reported to the Legislature as "economically unsound and financially unwise" the proposed construction of a $60,000,000 tell express highway from the Connecticut line across the state to New Hampshire.

Headed by House Speaker Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr., the report stated that there was no demand for such a highway project at this time.
