LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
An untried, inexperienced Tech J.V. should not offer much resistance to the freshman lacrosse team today, as the Yardlings go after their sixth victory at 3:45 p.m. on the Business School Field. No one on the Engineer squad played lacrosse before this year.
The M.I.T. team underwent a shakeup last week which ended with the removal of all upperclassmen from the J.V. The squad which will oppose the Crimson today is completely made up of freshmen who haven't played together as a unit for more than a few days.
After an early-season injury jinx, the Yardling team is rounding into shape. Coach Dick Whitney will have the use of first string goalie Bob Rosenman, sidelined the past week with a turned ankle. Whitney is still shifting assignments, however, and today he will probably start Sam Huttenbauer between Ted Sexton and Captain Rog Martin.
