Appointment of Mrs. Margery W. Kyle, of Bermuda, to the post of head resident of Moors Hall, effective next fall, was announced yesterday by President Jordan.
During the war Mrs. Kyle maintained a home for refugees in Berkhamsted, England. She also lived in India, where for many years her late husband was secretary to the government of India in the Finance Department.
Miss Eloise Knapp of Bronxville, New York, a graduate student in English, will become head resident of Gilman House (57 Garden Street) next year. Miss Knapp was graduated from Elmira College in 1948 and has since taught at the Lenox Day School in New York.
President Jordan also named Miss Elaine Ryan, of Yonkers, New York, as resident fellow of the graduate houses, effective next fall. A 1948 graduate of Barnard College, she is now a second year graduate student in the history of American civilization.
