Vice-President Reynolds reaffirmed yesterday the University's decision to terminate use of the Harvard Way Extension veterans housing project this summer.

At the same time, Reynolds turned down a request by the Harvard Chapter of the American Veterans Committee for an interview with President Conant on the question of keeping the project open for an extended length of time. The A.V.C. recently completed a survey of married veterans which, it claims, shows there is still a "desperate need" for continued housing.
