WHRB Orgy Goes On

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This week WHRB will move into its 300th hour of continuous broadcasting, a new record for the station in non-interrupted programs.

These orgies, held during each reading period, were begun in 1940. So far classical music from pre-Bach to modern has been featured, but starting Friday, bop, jazz, hillbilly, and opera take the spotlight.

Music of Bartok, Hiadomith, Stravinsky, and all post-romantic and modern composers runs from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. tomorrow.
