The Massachusetts Department of Public Health will type blood today only from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cambridge Adult Education Center, Robert A. MacCready, director, announced yesterday. Harvard men are invited.
The registering of blood types is part of the Civil Defense program. Other measures include traffic controls, rescue teams, and informative literature on what to do if a city is bombed.
The special staff at the Adult Education Center is set up to handle ten people every 15 minutes. The Cambridge Community Service will schedule appointments on a smaller scale for next week.
