Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Radcliffe's Student Council voted 9 to 5 in favor of the Radcliffe Yearbook's publishing the new freshman register in conjunction with the Harvard CRIMSON at a meeting yesterday afternoon.
Under the present plan, the register will be published by December 15 and will sell for $.50. It will contain pictures, names, and addresses of the Annex freshmen plus action pictures with copy. The publication will be the first of its kind ever to come out at Radcliffe.
The question of campaigning restrictions for both Student Council and class offices was also brought up at yesterday's meeting. Council members voted unanimously to put a $3 limit on all campaign procedures and to bar stunts from dining halls, the candidates' tea, and from within visible distance of voting places.
The Council also passed the recommendation that no candidate be allowed backing by campaigning or publicity of any sort by an organization within or without the college.
Campaign discussions will be carried over to next week's meeting.
