Demos Is Stricken By Heart Illness

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Raphael Demos, professor of Philosophy, is currently under observation at Mount Auburn Hospital following a heart attack yesterday, hospital officials disclosed last night.

Members of his family said that the 59-year-old philosopher had been seriously ill with a coronary thrombosis three years ago, and that although yesterday's attack was a comparatively mild one, physicians had recommended a thorough check-up at the hospital.

Hospital officials also said that no definite diagnosis of Demos condition could be made until at least Friday.
