A proposal by the Kiwanis Club of Canada for post-season and spring football games between Canadian schools and Ivy League teams is against League rules and could not be accepted, H.A.A. and Eastern College Athletics Conference officials said yesterday.
The Kiwanis bid had-named Harvard. Yale, Princeton, and Columbia as likely opponents in charity contests with Canadian squads.
H.A.A. spokesmen pointed out that athletic committee regulations allow only one pre-season scrimmage to the Crimson eleven, and forbid the acceptance of any post-season bids.
