Eliot House kept its undefeated record in the House hockey league intact, as it scored a 3 to 2 win over previously unbeaten Winthrop Wednesday night in an overtime battle.
Eliot's Terry King provided the winning goal for the Elephants, scoring on Pete Lawson's rebound. The tally was King's seventh of the season.
The other two Elephant goals were scored by Hunt Collins and Dean Howells, while Mike Jackson played an outstanding game at the goalie spot. Pacing the Puritans with a goal and an assist was Fritz Drill. The second Winthrop goal was collected by Fran Harding.
The two House league basketball contests scheduled for Wednesday, matching Lowell with Kirkland, and Leverett with the Air R.O.T.C., were cancelled.
