Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
Senator Robert A. Taft (R-Ohio), candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, will appear at a Young Republican Club cocktail party in Cambridge, H.Y.R.C. president John Harrington 3L announced last night. The party is scheduled for December 11.
Harrington said this would be the first of a series of such parties where H.Y.R.C. members will meet all the Republican candidates.
All the parties will be open to H.Y.R.C. members only, Harrington said. At present there are no plans to have Taft or any future guest speak to students in a public talk while they are here.
Taft graduated from Harvard Law School in 1913.
