Salzburg Seminar is gaining importance in Europe as an effective transmitter of American values, Dexter Perkins '09, president of the Seminar, told a group of "Friends of Salzburg" in Phillips Brooks House yesterday.

"The Seminar has been powerful in giving stimulus and direction to the intellectual efforts of the Europeans who have studied there," Perkins said. The Rochester University professor, who just returned from a month's visit to the Seminar, said that "Salzburg Seminar now stands for something in Europe."
