'Cliffe Asks Father To Visit College, Dine, Give Ideas of Classes

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Annex administration has invited a small number of fathers of Radcliffe girls to an experimental conference on March 3, Dean Sherman announced yesterday.

A letter sent to the fathers explains that Radcliffe will not ask for "a financial contribution," but seeks informal opinions of its plant and education.

Fathers were chosen "partly by what their professions are, partly by who their daughters are, and partly by where they live." Those who accept will visit classes, lunch with President Jordan and the deans, tour the Annex, and dine with their daughters in Moors Hall.

If the meeting is successful there will be more programs for 'Cliffe parents. This plan evolved from a discussion of a possible Radcliffe parents day at Cedar Hill this fall.
