Seniors Cast Votes to Elect Class Day Committee Today

Hallot Lists 22 for Committee-10 of Which Will Win Places; Voting Is by Plurality System

Seniors will finish electing then Class Day Committee at lunch and dinner today. Voting began yesterday in Dudley Hall for commuters.

Every year, the ten-man committee is pot in charge of all activities during Senior Week in the spring. Last year's events included the Baccalaureate Service, a formal dance, a midnight supper, Class Day exercises, the Harvard-Yale baseball game, an informal dinner, a Band and Glee Club concert, and the Commencement.

There are 22 men running for the committee this year. After balloting, the voted will be totaled in the Student Council Office.

While last year's elections were preferential, '51's will be by plurality.

Candidates are: Edmund J. Blake, Jr., Dunster; Samuel H. Cantwell, Dunster; James F. Draper, Kirkland; Frederick V. Fortmiller, Eliot; Douglas M. Fouquet, Dunster; Dalton A. Griffith, Jr., Winthrop; David Harrison, Kirkland; George C. Hewitt, Dunster; Nathaniel R. Howard Kirkland; Robert P. Hyde, Winthrop.

Also, Richard J. Larkin, Jr., Kirkland; George M. Lovejoy, Leverett; Paul W. Mandel, Lowell; Richard C. Miller, Leverett; Herbert D. Lewis, Dudley; Richard R. Reynolds, Leverett; Arthur H. Rohn, Jr., Dunster; Peter B. Taub, Lowell; Robert E. Tomasello, Dudley; Jefferson Walkins, Lowell; Frank H. Wood, Winthrop; and Alvin Becker, Adams.
