Lowell Dominates 'A' All-House Basketball

Kirkland House, despite winning the House "A" basketball championship, failed to place a man on the all-star House team, which was announced yesterday. Lowell was the only team with two men on the first five, while Dunster, Dudley, and Winthrop each had one representative.

Al Kinney and Paul Altrocchi were the Lowell players selected, while Stan Green of Winthrop, Hugh Raphael of Dunster, and Bob Hoffman round out the five. Greene was the league's high scorer with 165 points.

Three Eliot players and two from Kirkland made up the second team. Pete Collias, Erwin Vonderlage, and John Nichols were the Eliot trio. Tom Everhart and Jay Fox represented Kirkland.

The final league standing had Lowell, Leverett, and Eliot in a tie for second place behind Kirkland. Winthrop was in fifth place.

Second high scorer was Bob Hoffman. Kenney was third, and Fred Wagner of Kirkland landed the fourth spot. Funster Rahrael narrowly took the fifth position.
