Busy School May Get New Parking Lot by Next Year

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Business School is considering possible new locations for a parking lot, Vice-President Reynolds' office announced yesterday. The new lot will be needed if present plans for two new Business School buildings are approved.

Construction on the two new buildings will probably start this summer provided Corporation approval comes as expected. Since the present parking lot is where the buildings will go up, Charles C. Pyne, Assistant to the Administrative Vice-President, said that the University will probably construct a new lot as close to the old one as possible.

Pyne also stated that the University is satisfied with the success of the new parking system and "under no circumstances do we plan to abandon any of the parking lots, as was rumored." He also expressed complete satisfaction over the way the registering system has been working and said that it, too, will be continued.

"Cambridge police and the University have worked together on several matters this year, and the results appear to have been good," said Pyne. "The parking situation has cleared up considerably."
