'54 Nine votes Peyton Head
Ronald L. Peyton '54, of Los Angeles and Matthews Hall was elected captain of the freshman baseball team. He has caught every Yardling game so far.
Peyton played baseball and basketball in high school. He was co-captain and voted Most Outstanding Player in baseball. Peyton captained the winning Yard intramural basketball team of Matthews South.
