Yardling Ten Crushes Unskilled Textile, 16-1

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With two minutes to play midfielder Don Schaff flicked in a goal to spoil the Yardling lacrosse team's 14 to 1 near shutout over Lowell Textile away yesterday. Attackmen, Willie Kurth, with two goals and six assists, and Monk Afello, with five tallies and one assist led the freshman scoring.

The game was not as one-sided as the score would indicate, for although the Yellow had only one experienced player and incurred 16 penalties, their tight covering prevented the Yardlings from setting up many plays.

Middlesex will meet the freshmen on the Business School field at 4 p.m. today.
