Sharp criticism of the Liberal Union's neutral position in the International Ladies Garment Workers Union-Revelation Bra Company strike came last night from Ralph Roberts, general organizer at the I. L. G. W. U.
Attacking the H. L. U., which favors the union but plans to take no further action, Roberts said "I don't go along with this wishy-washy liberalism. You're either pro-labor or you're not."
A representative of the union will attend an H. L. U. meeting this afternoon at 4:30 to discuss the case with the executive board and other H. L. U. members.
Roberts added that the H. L. U. is "looking for ethical values in this situation," when they should realize that "the union is in a battle."
