Captain "Sudsie" Sutherland flipped in five goals and an assist to help Andover crush the freshman lacrosse team, 11 to 4, on the New Playing Field yesterday. Tod Goodwin, Phil Waring, and Ed Curtis were high scorers for the losers with two points apiece.
The Yardlings got off to a fast start and at 9:47 Goodwin tossed a pass to Willie Kurth, who notched the first goal. Twenty seconds later, Curtis converted a Goodwin pass. Sutherland scored once, but the freshmen led at the half, 2 to 1.
