Sheldon M. Goodman 2L was burned out of his top-floor apartment at 70 Wendell Street when a blaze destroyed the three-story wooden building in which he lives early yesterday morning.

The fire apparently originated in a second floor closet, Deputy Fire Chief Timothy White state yesterday.

Three firemen were injured in fighting the blaze, but none of the ten occupants of the building was hurt. One of the firemen was overcome by smoke, and the other two suffered cuts and bruises.
