WRRB Plans Independent Orgy Of Classics for Three Weeks

Despite its recent separation from the Harvard Network, Radio Radcliffe will broadcast independently for 18 1/2 hours daily during the entire reading period. The station will be on the air, starting Monday, from 3 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. every day for three weeks.

This is the first time that an "orgy" will be produced independently by Radio Radcliffe. Formerly, the "orgies" originated at the studies of WHRB, and were produced jointly by members of both stations.

The schedule for next week includes the Baroque composers, followed by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven each for a period of six hours or more. Opera lovers can look forward to 48 consecutive hours of listening, May 15 and 16.

WRRB plans its usual programming for the first week of reading period, and will start its own "orgy" on May 14.
