Two students, the entire enrollment, in Italian II got a full dose of Latin temperament when they showed up for their final exam yesterday morning.
Paul Alciere '51 and Adorna Orlandi '58 expected to be tested on "Problems in Italian Composition and Syntax." But when they arrived in the examination room, they found that Professor Rigo Mignani had forgotten to write an exam for the course.
The bewildered students later learned that Mignani was in New York, having apparently forgotten completely about the test. He returned late yesterday and promised to give the exam this morning.
