Freshman Draft Test Date to Be Revealed

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Freshmen and other college students who have not yet taken the draft deferment exam will be able to do so very soon, the CRIMSON learned yesterday.

Dates for the new series of tests, and orders telling students how to apply will be issued from either Washington or Princeton within the next few days, very reliable sources stated.

A report from General Hershey's special advisory committees, which are correlating results of last spring's tests, may proceed the latest set.

Many upperclassmen who took the last exams have already received questionnaires dealing with their reasons for taking the test and their reactions. The answers are all part of the general survey now in progress which will help the examiners prepare new three-hour grinds for the neophytes.

It is not yet known whether all or part of the survey results will be made public. At present no other information than a few nationwide percentages are available. No one yet knows, for example, haw Harvard men make out in general.
