Simmons Addresses Institute Of Tropical Medicine in Liberia

Brig. Gen. James S. Simmons, U.S.A. (retired), Dean of the Harvard School of Public Health, will deliver a dedication address today at the Liberian Institute of the American Foundation for Tropical Medicine, in Liberia.

The Institute, aided by a $250,000 gift from Harvey S. Firestone, Jr. and land from the Republic of Liberia, is a direct outgrowth of a 1944-45 investigation of disease by the Foundation and the Harvard School of Public Health.
