Ex-varsity end Dike Hyde scored twice and Bill Fuller tallied once to lead the Crimson ruggers to a 21 to 0 victory over a British Navy team from the frigate H.M.S. Burghead Bay, stationed in Gloucester.
Pat Parker converted twice to bring the score as high as it was. Two conversions were missed. The game was very clean, according to the referee, an M.I.T. official. Whitey Black, Tom Calhoun, coach and captain, Pete Hanger, Rocky Stone, Pete Slusser, and Jack Macrae also played for the Crimson.
Neither team had has any practice before yesterday's game, played at M.I.T., but there were no serious injuries.
Two British players were later injured in a Beverly auto accident.
