Jordan Speaks at Rally For Crimson Bowl Tilt

Varsity football coach Lloyd Jordan, Fullback John Culver, and End Paul Crowley will among the speakers tonight at a rally heralding the Crimson Bowl game between the Wintergreens and the Rincharts.

The Crimson Bowl, the second annual House all-star football game, will be played in the Stadium at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Admission will be free.

The Band and cheerleaders will start tonight's rally at John Harvard's statue at 7:15 p.m., march down the traditional rally route, and then assemble on the steps of the Indoor Athletic Building.

Other speakers will include the coaches of the rival teams, Charles Dey 1 Grad. Ed. of the Wintergreens and Paul Staley 2L of the Rincharts.

Wintergreen, Rinehart Speak

Head Cheerleader William Soule '53 has promised that both Wintergreen, the perennial candidate, and Rinehart, the famed rioter, will make appearances.

Soule reports that Wintergreen will fly back from Washington especially for the rally. Wintergreen has been there lobbying for a recount of last week's election, according to Soule.

Rinehart, whose sentence was up last week, was said by Soule to be searching for a new supply of bursars' cards before returning to Cambridge.

Culver to Boost Team

Culver, who lives in Winthrop House, will tell the crowd why he feels that the Wintergreens will win easily. The Wintergreen team is drawn from Winthrop, Adams, Eliot and Dunster.

Crowley, who lives in Leverett, will offer a rebuttal in behalf of the Rincharts, who are drawn from Leverett, Dudley, Kirkland and Lowell.

The referee for the game will be Leroy J. Kelley (Dartmouth); the umpire, Thomas F. Murphy (Boston College); the linesman, John J. Daly, Jr. (Williams); and the field judge, Henry D. Hormel (New York University).

John Goldsmith '50 will announce the game on the Stadium public address system, as he did last year.
