JUST A THANK YOU

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

I wish to send this as an open letter to the Eliot House Committee:

Thank you for the many kind things said about the Harvard Maids. If is nice to note the change in the relationship between the Harvard Students and their Maids. We have long been the victims are serving you in order to help.

The majority of women are serving you in order to help their family income. And many are helping their sons and daughters secure a better education. We do not ask for public praise, just an occasional thank you and due repect.

Who knows, perhaps some other lady is making our son's life a bit happier, be it his maid at college or a field worker in Korea. No matter where youth goes, a Motherly touch certainly helps. Name withheld by request
