The best in intra-mural basketball goes on view tonight at the I.A.B. when the Athletic Association presents its first annual All-Star evening. No admission will be charged.
All-star players from Lowell, Dunster, Leverett, and Adams will be matched against a similar team drawn from Eliot, Winthrop, Dudley, and Kirkland in the contest which is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. A preliminary freshman all-star game will start at 7 p.m.
The group which includes Lowell is being coached by Ed Krinsky of the varsity and will be wearing white uniforms. They will be seated on the Harvard side of the I.A.B. and will be the home team on the scoreboard.
Hansen Coaches "Visitors"
Their opponents, coached by the varsity's Forest Hansen, will wear red uniforms and will be seated on the visitors' side. The H.A.A. will distribute mimeographed programs at the game, carrying both House and freshman rosters.
In the freshman game, the all-star team representing the American League will wear red uniforms and be seated on the home bench. The opposing National League all-stars will wear green uniforms.
The House contest will have ten-minute quarters, while the freshmen will play eight-minute periods. The times were agreed upon in a meeting yesterday between Adolph Samborski '25, Director of Intra-mural Athletics, and the team coaches.
Both Krinsky and Hansen expressed confidence after sending their teams through final workouts yesterday.
