WHRB to Give Morning Menus, Music, News; Radcliffe, Tech Stations Will Swap Programs

Radio Radcliffe's spring plans feature an exchange program with WMIT and a new twist in candidate training. Several times during the spring term WMIT will turn its station over for a night to Radcliffe personnel doing Radcliffe shows. In return the Techmen will be allowed to broadcast WMIT shows from the 'Cliffe Field House station.

Another new development will be WRRB's use of a tape recorder to train fledgling announcers. Candidates will speak into the recorder and hear their mistakes when the tapes are played back to them.

Starting Monday morning, Harvard students will be able to find out what's for breakfast in their dining hall without even getting out of bed. WHRB is inaugurating a new show, "Music in the Morning," running Monday through Friday from 8 to 10 a.m., which will feature light classical music, news roundups at quarter of and past the hour, weather reports, time checks, and humorous trivia narrated by Alan J. Bell '53, who will announce the show.

The menus from all the University dining halls will be broadcast at 8:20, 8:40, and 9 a.m.
