Two Freshmen Fined For Parts in Riot on Monday at Radcliffe

Two freshmen were fined and two acquitted at the Cambridge Third District Court yesterday in the aftermath of Monday night's freshman march on Radcliffe.

Donald H. Butters and George V. Buehler pleaded guilty to charges of disturbing the peace and paid fines of $15. Edward G. Stockwell was dismissed before the trial by the probation officer on charges of drunkenness. Pleading not guilty to a disturbing the peace charge, William B. Pescosolido was acquitted. He defended himself and upon questioning the arresting officer, the judge decided in Pescosolido's favor.

Buehler commented that he and a group of friends entered the quad and were immediately arrested by the Cambridge police. He also said that the police would not disclose the charges against him.
